South Country Suites

Uncertainty

This customer felt out of his element on the design and was a world class delegator.  He had built a site himself previously, had a few pictures to provide, and otherwise hadn't yet had a logo branding guide provided nor a professional photo shoot.

Our first draft from the vendors was basic and overly relied on alternating rounded container corners, a fixed content width, and set photo sizes.

This customer just purchased a commercial property in the valley and knew the aesthetic of luxury he wanted to convey.  He allowed me full access to rebuild and re-design the entire website as I saw fit, evoking a luxury store-front / magazine cover aesthetic where the content and the media mapped the layout more so than a predetermined scheme.  As you can see here, content containers spill over into the rows below and semi-transparent Headings float on the page, seemingly in chaos, but to this client's liking.

He now has a unique, boutique build for a commercial property formerly owned by a major chain.  He wanted to make a piece of the valley uniquely his own, and we did that with a little moxie and ingenuity thanks in the direction of jugaad design.
